You could call him your expert in low back pain, headaches, sore neck, whiplash, jammed hip, frozen shoulder, healing hands, magic touch, pain fixer upper, or you could just call him Dr. Ray lanacone, chiropractor at Mountain West Chiropractic in North Las Vegas, NV.
Introduced to chiropractic almost 30 years ago, Dr. lanacone (Dr. Ray), who grew up in Albuquerque NM., knows the benefits of chiropractic care first hand. Like many people, Dr. Ray was injured in an auto crash when he was 16 years old. Being an avid high school baseball player and golfer, he wasn’t able to play the sports that he loved. In fact, there were days that he couldn’t get out of bed due to the pain in his neck and low back. Luckily for him, his mother brought him to a chiropractor for treatment. After a few weeks of care, his symptoms were nearly gone and he was able to once again participate in the activities he loved. From that point on, his interest in Chiropractic and the workings of the body began to grow. Looking back, he attributes that situation for his later desire to become a Chiropractor.
Dr. Ray received his undergraduate degree in business administration and professional golf management. After graduation, he moved to Las Vegas to begin his career as a golf professional and one day become a head golf professional at a course in the area. Although he truly enjoyed the work and people in the golf industry, he began to feel the need to alter his career path. So, four years later, he found himself making the decision to return to school to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. Dr. Ray attended Life West Chiropractic College in Hayward, CA.
During Dr. Ray’s chiropractic studies, he became amazed by the complexity and intelligence built into the workings of the human body. It is truly the most incredible machine ever. Following graduation Dr. Ray stayed in the bay area to work with experienced chiropractors to improve his skill, techniques and understanding of chiropractic and the human body. As complex and amazing as the human body is, you can never stop learning better ways of improving your health.
Dr. Ray returned to Las Vegas in 2007, where he began working with the experienced doctors at Mountain West Chiropractic. Dr. Ray has a strong interest in the problem solving aspects of chiropractic and enjoys searching for techniques to aid the body to heal itself. Presently his interest and use of Chiropractic Bio Physics has contributed to new levels of success with stubborn and unresolved cases.
