Dr. Kenneth Hogan, D.C.
I am a native Las Vegan, surprisingly, born a little more than a mile away from where I practice today. Before graduating from Las Vegas High School, I injured my back while inner-tubing at Lee Canyon. For several months, I was unable to even get up from laying on my back without disabling lower back pain. After several months of pills and several sessions of physical therapy, I had not improved. I proceeded to visit a chiropractor, who after a few visits, completely alleviated my back pain. I was convinced from that point on that I wanted to help people by becoming a chiropractor. I completed my undergraduate studies at College of Southern Nevada and Southern Utah University. Palmer College of Chiropractic was my next stop. Upon graduation in 1993, I returned home to Las Vegas. I was fortunate to pass the Nevada State Board of Chiropractic Examination on my first attempt, which historically had a less than 20% pass rate.
Since starting practice, I have focused on helping patients get the pain relief they need and getting their life back to normal. Whether it be whiplash, neck pain, back pain, headaches or a concussion, proper care and treatment is essential to recovery. In addition to helping those that are suffering, in 1997, I underwent training to become and expert in determining the degree of disability and impairment that a person may be after suffering an injury. For over 12 years, I traveled throughout the state, including Laughlin, Mesquite, Pahrump, Carson City and Reno to evaluate injuries after being placed by the State of Nevada.
In order to help patients with a further array of problems, I installed a Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy chamber in my office. This therapy has shown tremendous benefit in helping those with Autism, trauma, bowel ulcerations, brain trauma, orthopedic fractures, concussion symptoms and other soft tissue traumas. This therapy has been given hope to many who have been given up on.
I am blessed with a great wife, Lisa Hogan, D.D.S, together, we have been blessed with one son. We enjoy watching our son compete in basketball and flag football. My primary hobby is playing golf with friends. We enjoy our extensive family that still lives in Las Vegas.
